1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Privacy1st ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Privacy1st provides AI-powered call screening that intercepts incoming calls to your phone number, identifies callers, and routes them according to your configured policies. The Service operates via conditional call forwarding — no app install, carrier switch, or number porting is required.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Intercept or screen calls on phone numbers you do not own or control.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to screen calls, generate voicemail transcriptions, and produce caller summaries. AI outputs are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions (e.g., emergency calls). Privacy1st is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Call screening depends on telephony infrastructure that may experience outages beyond our control. In the event of a service disruption, calls will fall through to your phone as normal.

8. Pricing & Billing

  • Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by Privacy1st. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privacy1st shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed calls, lost business, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
